Bengaluru: SriRamchandrapura Matha’s Bharatiya Gou Parivara team has completed a massive task of collecting and distributing about 25 loads of fodder, necessary items of worth approximately four lakhs, one ton of rice, 18 tonnes of animal fodder, to the flood affected regions all over Karnataka in a span of just a month.
About 2 loads of dry grass from Davanagere district was collected from the donors by Gou Sanchalaka Srikanth and other members of Gou Parivara and was distributed to Vishwa Hindu Parishath of Tiluvalli in Hanagal, Goushaala managed by Bhajaranga Dala and Shivayogi Mandira Goushaala of Badami, 2 loads of dry grass and 1 load of rice collected by the people of Kothanur Grama was distributed to the farmers affected by the flood in Haveri.
About 1 load from Chitradurga district and about 2 loads of dry grass from Bannikode Grama of Davanagere district were collected and distributed to the Goushaala of Sri Shivasaad Swamiji’s Balaji Matha, 2 loads of dry fodder form K R Nagar of Mysuru was distributed to the flood affected farmers of Kodagu Siddapura Balele region, about 2 loads of dry grass was collected from the money from 1982-87 students batch from Bengaluru and was distributed to the Goushaala of Banashankari Temple and Shivayogi mandira Goushaala in Badami taluk.
5 loads of dry grass was collected from Mandya district out of which 3 loads were distributed to the farmers of Ujire of Beltangadi taluk and 2 loads fodder was distributed in the Kodagu, Samaaje regions affected by flood. 1 load of fresh grass collected from Dakshina Kannada district was distributed to the farmers in Ujire region.
