Hegde Shanthika Parameshwari Temple extends helping hand for the Gouaalayas

The heat of the lockdown announced due to Covid-19 has not only affected the general public but also affected the cows of Hosadu Goushala which is the only Goushala of the coastal region that is dedicated to conserve the Indian cow breeds.
The Goushala has been experiencing difficulty like never before as all the sources of income from the premises have been stopped because the Goushala had to be closed due to lock-down.  In this time of difficulty the plight of the poor cows in the Goushala has reached the administrative committee of the historical, famous Sri Shanthika Parameshwari Temple of Hegde village of Kumta Taluk in Uttara Kannada district. They have responded immediately and donated 50,000 rupees in the to of cheque. This temple is the first in the district to join hands to help in conservation of the indigenous breeds that are at the verge  of extinction by donating annually since the past 4 years.
